We are proud to announce the start of our beta program for TaskReports™. This program is open and free for anyone who is interested.

TaskReports™ is supposed to be a sophisticated task reporting tool. It provides an overview of all of your tasks and prepares several types of visual reports. The current features include:

• On-device reporting of your tasks.
• Analyzing of your task database.
• Simplified reports give you a real overview.
• Currently available task report types: textual overview listing, graphical bar chart.
• Compatible with desktop task applications including but not limited to Microsoft® Outlook®, iCal®, Entourage®, and more.
• All tasks that can synchronized with the BlackBerry® Desktop Manager, MissingSync or PocketMac can be analyzed.
• Compatible with other task applications like BlackBerry® Tasks™, NextAction!, TaskMaster™, TaskMailer™, QuickTask™.

TaskReports™ is compatible with all current BlackBerry® models.

I tried this and it looks really nice!

I understand this is an early beta version but I would like to see more features and more reporting possibilities / views. Any plans on this? When is the next beta version coming?

I like those colourful graphs
I feel this Blackberry task reporting tool still needs some improvement, here are my suggestions:
- Track Data over time
- Send Reports to my email inbox, so I can see it on my PC.
- Char Bars with more realistic 3D effect

Unfortunately the Blackberry doesn't have any 3D support so far. Not even SQLite, which we can find on the upcoming Android Mobile phone / smartphone Operating System. I'm not sure, but I think the iPhone also has some 3D capabilites already, doesn't it. RIM should put some 3D libraries and acceleration hardware into those Blackberrys.

A new beta version has just been released.

New features since version 1.2.0:

• General user interface improvements (everything is directly accessible from the program’s home screen).
• Added report type: upcoming tasks.
• View all upcoming tasks which are due today, the current week or current month.
• Filter on/of setting for completed tasks.
• Scheduled report manager.
• Send scheduled email reports in background.
• Scheduling period: one time, daily or weekly basis.

Anyways, the software is quite helpful. For the first time ever I can see what I have done during a week.

A manual would be really nice. It took me some time to get into it and know how to use it. By the way: I never read a manual anyway ...

I like to see a "GTD Report" in there which somehow connects NextAction! (I am using this for implementing GTD on my BlackBerry) with TaskReports and allows me to see my tasks from GTD point of view. I think this would be really really nice - especially for GTD users of course
